The language in outline: Sino-Tibetan, Kuki-Chin branch, ISO 639-3 code pck. Records the two major dialects spoken in Manipur, Lamjang and Dapjal, alongside the smaller Songtal, Bukpi, Lousau and Kangkap, and notes the language’s role as a lingua franca in parts of Churachandpur.
